Here’s my story- I’ll try to keep it brief! I’m Stephanie, Australian born in the beautiful Blue Mountains 2 hrs west of Sydney. I grew up completely immersed in what I still believe is up there with the most beautiful locations in the world. From when I could walk I would follow my sisters into the nearby garden or bush and pass all day until dark playing, creating and imagining in amongst the eucalyptus trees, the banksias, waratahs and other wildflowers. When I wasn’t there I was drawing imaginary houses, painting, sewing, watching my mum create her latest artwork or my dad build our house. It was there that with two very creative parents my desire to do nothing but create was born. I watched enthralled as my mum made sculptures out of found objects and my dad who pieced together a house with many reused or eco friendly materials. I knew then that I would pursue a career that allowed me to tell stories through interiors, to really influence the way people feel by the design of their spaces.
